"This is worse than Jordan retiring," says "Housewives" fanatic Michael Rapaport.
It seems the only person content with her decision to leave "The Real Housewives of New York" is Bethenny Frankel (and maybe Ramona Singer and Luann de Lesseps).
Moments after news broke that the self-made millionaire would be departing the Bravo series she helped launch in 2008, fellow Housewives, Bravo fans and everyone in-between took to social media to mourn, stomp their feet, plead with the Skinnygirl mogul and even threaten to boycott Season 12.
Ramona and Lu, however, were busy posting about new projects and staying far away from the internet's Bethenny Frankel funeral. They did "like" her post, though, which could mean anything. No word from Sonja Morgan, either, but they weren't on bad terms last time we checked.

Bethenny Frankel Quits 'RHONY' Ahead of Season 12
View StoryBut Bethenny's other co-stars seem to have known this was coming, as they extended only messages of positivity on her heartfelt Instagram post explaining her reasoning. Dorinda Medley wrote, "Happy for you sad for the group x," Tinsley Mortimer left three kissy-face emojis and friend of the cast Barbara Kavovit commented, "You excel at everything -- excited to see your next move!"
Bethenny's longtime friend and "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star, Kyle Richards, dropped a heart emoji, while former "Real Housewives of Orange County" star Gretchen Rossi wrote, "Beautifully said. Wishing you continued success my friend." "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Margaret Josephs commented, "Devastated for us and thrilled for you!!! You are the original #bossbabe [Bethenny] there will never be another." And poor Andy Cohen is still processing the news, as all he left was a crying emoji.
"Housewives" fanatic Michael Rapaport, like many, is "happy but heartbroken" about the news, tweeting, "Bethenny is leaving #RHONY? This is worse than Jordan retiring. WTF @Bethenny @Andy????"
Actress Leslie Grossman feels similarly. "It's just like WHY WOULD BETHENNY DO THIS TO US NOW???" she tweeted. "I understand she has a life and needs and wants but WHAT ABOUT OUR NEEDS AND WANTS. I NEED AND WANT HER ON MY GODDAMN TV."

Carole Radziwill Doubles Down on 'Full of S--t' Andy Cohen Comments, Claims Bethenny Faked This 'RHONY' Storyline
View StoryComedian Whitney Cummings brilliantly used Bethenny's bombshell to draw attention to the fact that the Amazon Rainforest has been on fire for over two weeks, writing, "Bethenny Frankel is leaving the Real Housewives but also the Amazon Rainforest produces 20% of the worlds oxygen and it's burning down and nobody cares #RHONY."
But in all seriousness, she has a point. The Amazon Rainforest is the largest on Earth and is often referred to as the "Lungs of the World." The fact that it's been burning for 17 days is devastating. While there's not much we can do to stop the fires, we can raise awareness. Plus, there are several steps we can take to help reduce our impact on the Amazon as well as on the rest of the word's rainforests.
According to conservation non-profit Rainforest Action Network, we can reduce our paper and wood consumption, reduce our oil consumption, reduce our beef consumption, hold businesses accountable, invest in rainforest communities, support the grassroots and support Rainforest Action Network.
In the meantime, see some of the most dramatic reactions to Bethenny's departure in the posts below.
