The reality star says "tensions are high" in the new season, as the scandal was still pretty "raw and fresh" during filming.
A new season of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" is nearly upon us, meaning more drama involving Khloe Kardashian, Jordyn Woods and Tristan Thompson following the cheating scandal earlier this year.
As we've seen in previews for the new episodes, it gets heated at True Thompson's first birthday party, after Tristan shows up to celebrate as well. Kim Kardashian is clearly frustrated in the footage.
"True's birthday was just a couple weeks after all of that stuff happened -- so everything was really raw and fresh," Khloe explained while speaking with Ryan Seacrest on Friday morning. "That was really hard. You're going to see that in the first episode, really how we even came to the point where I even invited Tristan to her first birthday. I always wanted that to be obviously a mommy and daddy thing."

Another moment from the supertease showed Kylie Jenner asking if it'd be okay for Jordyn to write her a letter after the scandal. When Seacrest asked Kardashian how she "truly" thought and felt about the request, Khloe chose her words carefully.
"I am so open to anybody wanting to ... like I know everybody makes mistakes, I think it's how you handle it and I think your apologies need to be as loud as your disrespect was or to me it's not sincere," she replied. "I'm forgiving. I'm not someone who holds a grudge. If I do that it's only going to affect me ... that chapter is closed for me."
"I want all of us to move on and to be happy, successful people," she added. "I just want everyone to just be better people with each day. That's genuinely how I feel."

View StoryRyan noted that Khloe often approaches sticky or tough situations with a good sense of humor, something she says is vital for moving forward.
"We're all human beings and we're all figuring out life and stuff happens and people make mistakes and as long as it doesn't define who they are, as long they don't make those choices define them and they try to evolve and become better people, we're all gonna survive, we all learn from it."
"Things had to happen to me for me to learn how to become a better person as well and if we cant laugh at it, what the hell am I gonna do? Sit in a ball and cry?" she asked. "I gotta find the humor in something. I don't think these things are funny all the time but you have to laugh and still move on with life and know everything is gonna be okay, no matter what does happen to you."
