Lisa Vanderpump Responds to Sarah Paulson Dig After RHOBH Fans Rush to Former's Defense

Lisa Vanderpump's response to Sarah Paulson saying the recently exited "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star "wasn't very nice" to her at a party is shade worthy of Mariah Carey.

The Emmy award-winning actress made the comment during a sit-down for Vanity Fair's famed lie-detector test, where she twice said she wouldn't miss the restaurant mogul on the Bravo series, and questioned the validity of the self-inflicted lie-detector test LVP took on the show.

"I meet hundreds of people a week in my restaurants at appearances functions and events and normally a very enjoyable experience lol," Vanderpump tweeted early Thursday morning, adding, "However knowing who everybody is [is] impossible."

Before news of the jab could even make its way to the "Vanderpump Rules" matriarch, her die-hard fans rushed to Twitter to "cancel" Paulson. Many of them also claimed to not know who she was.

"Completely lost respect for @MsSarahPaulson," one of LVP's stans tweeted. "She continues to bully @LisaVanderpump because she claims she met her once & LVP wasn't nice to her? Sarah dear, you are friends w/ Eileen & Rinna, ppl who live to attack her. LVP is always careful around those she doesn't trust!"

In response, a critic wrote back, "So just because Sarah is supposedly friends with people LVP doesn't like, that means she can't be a decent human being for however many minutes to Sarah? STFU."

Vanderpump chimed in on the thread, adding, "I am sorry, not sure I know her and I don't believe or remember meeting her...I try to be nice to everybody lol," once again noting she's never heard of a Sarah Paulson.

What's even more interesting about this whole ordeal is that it could very well come full-circle. When asked during her Vanity Fair lie-detector test if she would ever join a "Housewives" franchise, Paulson said yes, noting New York was her top pick.
