"'Reno 911!' holds a special place in our hearts, and it will be a delight to get the original cast back together for 're-boot goofin,'" co-creator Thomas Lennon said.
Looks like the hilariously inept gang of cops from north Nevada will be back on the beat.
"Reno 911!" -- the classic Comedy Central series -- is in for a revival on the upcoming mobile platform Quibi for a seventh season.
Original series creators and cast members Thomas Lennon, Robert Ben Garant and Kerri Kenney-Silver are writing and starring in the new endeavor.
"'Reno 911!' holds a special place in our hearts, and it will be a delight to get the original cast back together for 're-boot goofin,'" Lennon said in a statement. "Hopefully Nick Swardson can still roller skate. Quibi's short format seems custom made for our show."
"We are very excited to partner with Ben, Kerri and Tom, three of the most gifted multi-hyphenates in comedy, to bring more of their iconic series Reno 911! to the world," said Sarah Babineau and Jonas Larsen, Comedy Central's Co-Heads of Original Content.

The cult-hit series ran from 2003 to 2009, following a group of haphazard police officers working for the Reno Sheriff's Department in a mockumentary-style show parodying the series "Cops."
"I for one will sleep soundly knowing 'Reno 911!' is back on the beat keeping our streets safe once again," said Doug Herzog of Quibi.
Quibi is set to launch on April 6 with a slew of content in the bag including 'Chrissy's Court' with Chrissy Teigen, the thriller 'The Stranger' and the Sophie Turner vehicle 'Survive.'
