9-1-1 Lone Star's Brian Michael Smith shared his thoughts on 9-1-1 star Oliver Stark's character Buck kissing another man on the show, a storyline which has sparked homophobic backlash. The actor -- who plays transgender firefighter Paul Strickland on the 9-1-1 spinoff -- praised the new direction for Stark's character, saying that he's thrilled to see Buck "explore this other part of himself."
