Chaz Bono will dance another day -- if his knees hold up.
The author/activist and partner Lacey Schwimmer were the lowest-scoring couple after Monday's routines, but the viewers voted to keep them in.
Chaz and Lacey were deemed "in jeopardy," but it was David Arquette and Kym Johnson and Elisabetta Canalis and Val Chmerkovskiy who were in the bottom two. The latter couple was eliminated.
Elisabetta and Val had scored a decent 21/30 for their Quickstep, but failed to get the viewer's votes. Elisabetta was one of the lesser-known stars this season -- really only known for her romance with George Clooney. Val was also new this season, and perhaps their lack of reputation hurt them.
With Val gone, so too is the Chmerkovskiy brother rivalry. However, Val told TooFab before the season that he would support his brother no matter the results.
"It was a good adventure. Thanks to the public and everyone who voted for us," the Italian beauty said in strongly accented English.
"I'm really proud of her," Val said of his partner Elisabetta. "I really appreciate the opportunity."
Ten couples remain in the hunt for the Mirror Ball Trophy.
