After "G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra," it looks like Paramount went in a different direction with the sequel -- by changing directors and casting action heavyweights like The Rock and Bruce Willis!
The plot seems very similar to "Mission: Impossible -- Ghost Protocol," with the G.I. Joe task force framed for something they didn't do -- leaving Duke (Channing Tatum), Roadblock (The Rock), Lady Jaye ("Friday Night Lights" hottie Adrianne Palicki) and Joe Colton (Bruce Willis) with no choice but to their names by taking down Cobra.
The movie definitely looks even more action-packed than the first flick, which raked in $200 million worldwide.
"G.I. Joe: Retaliation" drops into theaters on June 29, 2012. Will you seeing it?
