From "Hairspray" to hair styling!
Nikki Blonsky, who rose to fame by playing Tracy Turnblad in 1997 film adaptation of the hit musical, has landed a new gig -- at a salon.
After photos of her sweeping hair surfaced online, Blonsky took to her Twitter to confirm the news. "Its true Im workin@ Superstar Salon as a makeup artist & more," she writes.
She adds "Im proud 2 b workin & helpin pay bills BUT ill NEVER loose sight of my dreams."
After "Hairspray," Blonsky went on to star on ABC Family's "Huge," which was canceled after one season.
