Russell Brand and Katy Perry aren't doing the best job convincing everyone they're happily married.
As rumors continue to swirl about a big fight between the two over Christmas, Russell stepped out today -- and he wasn't wearing his wedding ring!
Though Brand has stepped out on the street without the band on a few times in the past, he's worn it to every single public event he's been to this year -- and, with all the tabloid talk, the ring's absence today may be telling.
The sighting comes after he and his wife of over a year spent the holidays apart. He in London, Katy in Hawaii.
Perry wasn't wearing her ring either when snapped in Hawaii ... but she also could have removed it to swim in the ocean.
