The Colombian songstress dazzled at the FIFA Ballon d'Or Gala in Zurich, Switzerland, donning a mermaid-style ruby gown with embellished bodice.
The 34-year-old was guest of honor at the event, which celebrates the soccer player who had the best performance during the previous season, and she was called on stage to announce the big winner -- Barcelona's Lionel Messi.
Shakira herself is no stranger to the soccer world – her boyfriend Gerard Pique is also a player for the Barcelona club, and the hot pair posed together for cameras
