It's Spring Break season!
College students aren't the only ones flocking to tropical Cancun, Mexico -- the island has attracted celebrities from reality TV stars to pop singers.
Just last week, "Jersey Shore" stars Jwoww and Snooki got their tan on at the Beach Palace Resort in the trendy hotel district.
While the all-inclusive hotel catered to many of their needs, the reality TV duo also took in local attractions. They traveled to nearby Isla Mujeres, where they played with dolphins. Wildlife abounds in Cancun; it's not unusual to walk by iguanas basking in the sun.
The Crococun Zoo in Cancun offers visitors a very up close experience with crocodiles, spider monkeys, tropical birds and more.
The nightlife and entertainment can be just as wild. The parties start late (10:30pm) and last well into the early morning hours. Cancun has also become a tour stop for some of the biggest acts in music. On March 10, Enrique Iglesias rocked the night at Moon Palace Golf & Spa Resort. Over 11,000 fans were treated to songs in both English and Spanish. The heartthrob playfully interacted with fans, taking self-portraits with their cell phones and even brought a handful of lucky attendees onstage.
Whether you're world famous or just someone looking for an escape, Cancun can also be a tranquil getaway. From spas to sunning, Cancun resorts cater to every comfort. Perhaps nowhere is this more true than the Le Blanc Spa Resort, which boasts a one staff member to guest ratio. With an infinity pool that stretches to the horizon and a variety of services, it's easy to see why it was named one of the top all-inclusive resorts in the world.
Peak travel season to Cancun is from December to April. With many themed and specialty resorts, guest will definitely find something that suits their needs.
