Ron Burgundy is coming back to the big screen!
Will Ferrell made a surprise appearance on Wednesday night's "Conan" to officially announce an "Anchorman" sequel ... dressed in costume as the ridiculous newsman.
Coming out playing the jazz flute, Burgundy proceeded to diss Conan before finally revealing the big sequel news.
Ferrell didn't reveal much else, but Deadline says Steve Carrell, Paul Rudd and David Koechner will be joining him and they're still "kicking around ideas" for the plot. So far, no word on if Christina Applegate will be back too .. but fingers crossed!
