Spoiler Warning: If you haven't watched last night's season premiere of "True Blood" yet, stop reading now!
The vampire, werewolf and shifter-filled premiere of "True Blood" Season 5 aired last night on HBO -- where we finally learned Tara's fate after being blasted in the head with a shotgun.
Rutina Wesley's character is now a vampire, thanks to a last-minute bargaining between Sookie (Anna Paquin) and Pam (Kristin Bauer)... Tara's longtime nemesis on the show.
And if the new promo for the rest of the season is any indication, Tara's going to be very thirsty for blood now that she's one of the undead.
We also get a glimpse at a few new faces, most notably Chris Meloni ... who joins the show as the leader of The Authority who holds Eric (Alexander Skarsgard) and Bill (Stephen Moyer) captive.
One qualm: Save for one shot of Eric and Bill in some weird cross harnesses, there's barely any skin in this trailer!
