"True Blood" had one bloody, action-packed finale -- but even more blood was shed in one of the deleted scenes.
HBO posted a bonus scene online after the show aired, showing what happened once Jason (Ryan Kwanten), Jessica (Deborah Ann Woll), Pam (Kristin Bauer van Straten), Tara (Rutina Wesley) and Nora (Lucy Griffiths) escaped from The Authority.
In the clip, Tara and Pam set up a date after their passionate make-out scene earlier, Jason hears his parents telling him to kill his vampire comrades and Nora reveals she knows more about the mysterious Warlow.
While Warlow's identity remained a mystery in the finale, show creator Alan Ball revealed the character will play a central role in Season 6.
"I think he'll be kind of a big part of it," Ball tells TV Line. When asked if Warlow was someone viewers of the show have already met, he added "No comment."
Ball also gave a few other tidbits about next season.
On if Bill is a god now after drinking Lilith's blood:
I don't want to say if he is or he isn't. Who's to say what Lilith really is? He is still Bill but he is something different ... He is not a completely new person. It's not like his memories or his experiences have been left out and he's just a baby.
On Tara and Pam's romance:
Well, here's the thing with relationships on True Blood: Once they happen then you have to throw a monkey-wrench into them, because to have people be happy is not that exciting.
On Luna's fate:
You'll have to watch [next season]. We didn't see her die.
On Russell's fate after being staked by Eric:
He's gone. We may see him in flashbacks, but he bit it.
Next season Ball will no longer act as show runner, handing the reigns over Mark Hudis -- but Ball says fans are in "very good hands."
