Sorry Loki, Thor has a new batch of enemies -- and they look brutal!

The first set photos of the Dark Elves from "Thor: The Dark World" surfaced earlier today as shooting for the superhero sequel continues this week in London.
We're not 100% positive, but it looks like the elf to the right may actually the Norse god's next big nemesis, Malekith the Accursed, played by Christopher Eccleston.
According to the official synopsis of the film, Makelith and his army come to Earth to "plunge the universe back into darkness" and is described as an "enemy that even Odin and Asgard cannot withstand."
The movie will see Thor (Chris Hemsworth) reuniting with Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) and "force him to sacrifice everything to save us all" ... whatever that means.
