Ready to return to Middle-Earth?
It's been nine years since the last "Lord of the Rings" film -- but this month, trolls, wizards and even more other-worldly creatures return in "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey."
And today, we've got your first look at some action-packed clips from the flick!
Gandalf the Grey (Sir Ian McKellan) and Gollum (Andy Serkis) return in the brand new videos, sharing screen time with Martin Freeman as Bilbo Baggins, a band of dwarves and some nasty-looking goblins.
According to the official plot, the new trilogy tells how Bilbo & Co. are "swept into an epic quest to reclaim the lost Dwarf Kingdom of Erebor from the fearsome Dragon Smaug."
Their adventures will "take them into the Wild, through treacherous lands swarming with Goblins, Orcs and deadly Wargs, as well as a mysterious and sinister figure known only as the Necromancer."
"The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" hits theaters December 14. Will you be checking it out?
