Ali Fedotowsky says finding lasting love on "The Bachelor" and its spinoff "The Bachelorette" is "unrealistic" ... and she should know.
The 28-year-old became engaged to Roberto Martinez during the finale of her "Bachelorette" season, but the two split in November 2011.
Toofab caught up with Ali at the Voli Light Vodka Benefit, and asked if someone can find lasting love on a reality TV show. See what she had to say:
Ali told toofab that selecting a spouse from a pool of contestants isn't "very realistic," but it did work out for her friends Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum, whose wedding she recently attended (the ceremony will air on ABC on December 16).
Has the experience made a pessimist out of the "1st Look" host? "It didn't work for me," Ali said with a shrug, "But, there's someone out there."
Perhaps those reports that she rekindled her romance with Roberto at Ashley's wedding might be an exaggeration? Find out which "Bachelor"/"Bachelorette" couples are still together by clicking on "Launch Gallery" below:
