From the airwaves to the big screen -- it's two female stars in the same dress! So who wore it better?
Mariah Carey's been doing plenty of press for "American Idol," and for the season premiere screening on Wednesday, Mimi sported a familiar ensemble.
The diva donned a white and black Valentino bow-tie gown for the occasion. Perhaps she was slightly overdressed for the event -- but it's Mariah -- we wouldn't expect anything less.
Carey finished her look with black peep-toe pumps, large dangle diamond earrings and a slicked back ponytail.
The mother-of-two looked great, but she's definitely not the first superstar to wear this designer dress! Two months ago, Jennifer Aniston wore the evening gown to the American Cinematheque Award Gala honoring Ben Stiller.
The "Wanderlust" actress completed her elegant look with a white clutch, minimal jewelry and her hair styled straight.
While we commend the "Idol" judge for her over-the-top look, we have to give the nod to Aniston. She looks effortlessly chic in the Valentino ensemble.
