After 10 years of never making it out of the green room, Matt Damon finally had his chance to shine on "Jimmy Kimmel Live."
Kimmel's had a long-running joke on his show where he ends every episode by saying he ran out of time to bring out Damon for an interview.
But last night, he got his revenge.
The show started with the actor "kidnapping" the talk show host ... and then proceeded to make the show his own, with his own monologue, Sheryl Crow as his band leader and guests like Nicole Kidman, Reese Witherspoon, Demi Moore and even Kimmel's ex-girlfriend Sarah Silverman.
It was amazing ... and proved that Damon could easily host an awards show in Hollywood (or his own talk show when if he ever retires from acting).
Here were our favorite moments from the show:
1.) Damon's initial takeover ... and changing the name of the show to "Jimmy Kimmel Sucks."
2.) Nicole Kidman giving a tied-up Jimmy a lapdance ... and then revealing she's a kleptomaniac.
3.) Reese Witherspoon coming in after a trip to BevMo and hinting she may have a drinking problem.
4.) Jennifer Lopez, Sally Field, John Krasinski, Robert De Niro, Oprah Winfrey and even Jimmy's parents made video messages wishing Damon luck.
5.) Sarah Silverman sits down for a chat and disses her ex.
