Ashley Judd and Dario Franchitti are divorcing after 11 years of marriage.
The actress and the three-time Indianapolis 500 winner issued a statement to People on Tuesday night.
"We have mutually decided to end our marriage," it read. "We'll always be family and continue to cherish our relationship based on the special love, integrity, and respect we have always enjoyed."
Shortly after the news broke, Ashley tweeted: "Family forever. @dariofranchitti." Dario responded in kind with the tweet, "@ashleyjudd family forever."
Ashley was often spotted at Dario's races, and Dario often accompanied her on the red carpet. Their last major public outing together was the 2012 Emmy Awards back in September.
The couple did not have any kids.
