Not gonna lie: We weren't watching the Super Bowl for the game itself -- but for the commercials and, of course, Beyonce!
This year we're counting down the best movie trailers that debuted during the big game, which included the first footage from the highly anticipated "Fast & Furious 6."
That preview was definitely the highlight for us, showing high-octane action and the return of one of our favorite actresses', Michelle Rodriguez.
Here's a brief description of the plot:
Dom (Vin Diesel), Brian (Paul Walker) and the whole team are recruited by Agent Hobbs (The Rock) to track down Letty (Rodriguez), who was presumed dead. If they catch her, they'll get a full pardon for their crimes from the previous films.
The movie opens May 24, 2013.
The rest of the trailers just featured new footage from films we've already seen previews from ... but when we're talking about movies like "Iron Man 3" and "Oz the Great and Powerful" any new footage is a treat!
"Iron Man 3" synopsis:
Marvel's “Iron Man 3” pits brash-but-brilliant industrialist Tony Stark/Iron Man against an enemy whose reach knows no bounds. When Stark finds his personal world destroyed at his enemy's hands, he embarks on a harrowing quest to find those responsible.
"Iron Man 3" opens May 3, 2013. See more footage at the Iron Man Facebook page.
"The Lone Ranger" Synopsis:
Native American spirit warrior Tonto (Johnny Depp) recounts the untold tales that transformed John Reid (Armie Hammer), a man of the law, into a legend of justice -- taking the audience on a runaway train of epic surprises and humorous friction as the two unlikely heroes must learn to work together and fight against greed and corruption.
"The Lone Ranger" opens July 3, 2013.
"Oz the Great and Powerful" Synopsis:
When Oscar Diggs (James Franco), a small-time circus magician with dubious ethics, is hurled away from dusty Kansas to the vibrant Land of Oz, he thinks he's hit the jackpot—fame and fortune are his for the taking—that is until he meets three witches, Theodora (Mila Kunis), Evanora (Rachel Weisz) and Glinda (Michelle Williams), who are not convinced he is the great wizard everyone's been expecting.
"Oz the Great and Powerful" opens March 8, 2013.
"World War Z" Synopsis:
Brad Pitt stars in this ambitious zombie movie, adapted from the book of the same name. It definitely looks like it could have the biggest budget of any zombie flick ever ... and having a name like Pitt attached doesn't hurt.
"World War Z" opens June 2013.
