Holly Madison has big plans after giving birth ... she's going to eat her placenta!
And while it sounds unconventional, it's a relatively common practice for new moms.
The former Playboy model shared the news on Wednesday writing on her blog, "This might sound gross, but I'm totally planning on having my placenta turned into pills I can take after giving birth."
She also attached a picture of the placenta pills, adding "I heard it helps women recover faster and I want to recover as quickly as I can!"
The 33-year-old is set to give birth March 5.
Holly's not the first celeb to consume placenta pills though. "Mad Men" star January Jones has also admitted to trying the off-sounding practice when she gave birth to her son Xander in 2011.
Jones told Britain's Glamour, "It's a very civilized thing that can help women with depression or fatigue. I was never depressed or sad or down after the baby was born, so I'd highly suggest it to any pregnant woman."
