Only 58 days until "Iron Man 3" hits theaters (not that we're counting) ... and today, we've got an action-packed new trailer for the flick!
Starring Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle and Sir Ben Kinglsey, the new video gives us a much better look at the movie.
"I'm Tony Stark, I build neat stuff, I got a great girl and occasionally, save the world," RDJ muses in the video. "So why can't I sleep?"
The rest of the trailer sets up the conflict between Tony and the new bad guy, The Mandarin, who warns "Today is the first day of what's left of your life."
From there it's explosions, new suits, the destruction of Stark's Malibu home and an entire army of Iron Men. Yes, an army.
While we can't wait for the third movie, we're also very interested to see what the next steps are for RDJ and The Avengers since his contract with Marvel is up.
"Our deal's up after three [movies]. This has been an amazing journey and the future is uncertain," Robert said at Comic-Con last year. "We'll have to find out which Brinks trucks we want to continue."
Think they'll shell out the money? He's definitely worth it.
Here's the official synopsis for "Iron Man 3."
Marvel's "Iron Man 3" pits brash-but-brilliant industrialist Tony Stark/Iron Man against an enemy whose reach knows no bounds. When Stark finds his personal world destroyed at his enemy's hands, he embarks on a harrowing quest to find those responsible. This journey, at every turn, will test his mettle. With his back against the wall, Stark is left to survive by his own devices, relying on his ingenuity and instincts to protect those closest to him. As he fights his way back, Stark discovers the answer to the question that has secretly haunted him: does the man make the suit or does the suit make the man?
