Valerie Harper (a.k.a Rhoda), star of "The Mary Tyler Moore" show has been diagnosed with terminal brain cancer.
The television icon received the devastating news that she has leptomeningeal carcinomatosis, a condition that occurs when cancer cells spread to the membrane fluid of the brain.
This isn't her first cancer diagnosis -- in 2009, Harper battled lung cancer. However, the cancer is much more aggressive this time and doctors have informed the actress she has just about three months left to live.
But the 73-year-old is staying positive, telling People magazine "I don't think of dying. I think of being here now."
