It all came down to one final rose on Monday night -- and Sean Lowe, "The Bachelor" of Season 17, gave it to .... wait for it ... drum roll please ...
Catherine!
The 28-year-old insurance agent from McKinney, Texas, had narrowed his choices down to 26-year-old graphic designer, Catherine Giudici, and 24-year-old and substitute teacher, Lindsay Yenter.
Before popping the question, Sean had to let down Lindsay, who seemed to take it fairly well ... considering she was dumped on national television.
In "the most dramatic Season Finale ever" (don't they always say that??), Lowe then got down on one knee in Thailand and proposed to Giudici with a Neil Lane engagement ring.
"I miss you every time we have to say goodbye. I don't want to say goodbye anymore. Catherine, I want to spend the rest of my life telling you," Sean said during his proposal. "I love you and making you feel like the most special, beautiful woman in the world. Will you marry me?"
Catherine's answer: YES.
During the after-show, Lowe revealed the couple wants to get married as soon as possible ... and they're planning to have it televised on ABC.
We wish these two the best, but the show's history isn't that stellar.
