"Mean Girls" was unleashed into theaters nine years ago today -- and the stars of the movie haven't been the same since.
When the movie was released on April 30, 2004, Lindsay Lohan was still a Disney girl, coming off squeaky clean movies like "Freaky Friday" and "Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen."
"Mean Girls" made her a superstar. She was the one to watch. But these days, unfortunately, it's for all the wrong reasons.
A lot of her costars, however, have fared MUCH better in recent years.
Rachel McAdams starred in one of the most beloved dramas ever ("The Notebook"), Amanda Seyfried was just in an Oscar-nominated movie ("Les Miserables") and Tina Fey went on to create a critically successful sitcom ("30 Rock").
