Reese Witherspoon appeared on "Good Morning America" Thursday morning to promote her new movie "Mud," but the topic quickly turned to her arrest two weeks ago.
Reese and her husband Jim Toth were pulled over by cops in Atlanta early Friday, April 19. Jim was charged with driving under the influence, while Reese was charged with obstructing justice.
Reese admited to George Stephanopolous that they had one too many glasses of wine at dinner and were "absolutely not" fine to drive. She went on to explain her behavior, where she allegedly told the cops, "do you know my name?" and tried to play the celebrity card:
Reese and Jim have hearings scheduled in Atlanta for May 22 and May 23, respectively.
