Filmed in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, Season 5 of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" was supposed to be a kinder, nicer season.
And while the storm has blown over, old grudges haven't.
All five Jersey housewives -- Jacqueline Laurita, Teresa Giudice, Caroline Manzo, Melissa Gorga and Kathy Wakile -- are back, and the tension is higher than Teresa's super sonic shriek.
In our first look at the new season, things appear to be cool, with sisters-in-law Teresa and Melissa bonding and Jacqueline mending fences with her daughter Ashley. But by the end of the clip, there are tears and a violent brawl between brothers-in-law Joe Giudice and Joe Gorga. And ... a totally inappropriate stripper pole routine. Watch:
And while she was rumored to return this season, original castmember Danielle Staub (who Teresa called a "prostitution whore") will not appear, as Andy Cohen confirmed.
Rumored new housewife Jennifer Dalton also makes a brief appearance.
