Nick Lachey has been free from the Simpson family grasp for almost seven years -- and last night, he finally spoke out about his ex-wife Jessica and her dad, Joe.
The 98 Degrees frontman was put on the spot, twice, about his marriage to the pop star on last night's "Watch What Happens Live." And while one of the questions came during Plead the Fifth, a game where he can opt out of answering one question in a series of three, he was game to talk.
So, how long has it been since he's talked to his former "Newlyweds" costar? Let's just say he probably hasn't congratulated her on her recent engagement or either pregnancy. See his answer above.
He was also asked "What is the best thing about no longer having Joe Simpson as a father-in-law?" -- and while Drew Lachey shouted out "Everything," Nick's answer was even better ... and yes, it involves "grab ass."
