Zooey Deschanel is known for her adorable personality and even cuter style ... but at Monday's Met Gala she was almost unrecognizable without her bangs!
The "New Girl" star kept her look light and fun (as usual) for the "punk" themed gala ... but her face underwent a total makeunder with her bang-free look.
Deschanel ditched her signature 'do and sported lighter makeup for the event ... which had us taking a double look at the quirky star.
We've gotta say, the 33-year-old looks better with bangs, this hairstyle washes her out and even ages her a bit.
