Yep, the bride wore black.
It was no white wedding for Avril Lavigne and Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger -- who had all black everything for their unique nuptials at a chateau in the south of France on Monday.
Not only did Avril wear a dark Monique Lhuillier dress, but her bouquet and the groom's suit, dress shirt and tie also matched.
After the ceremony, the two were photographed kissing and watching a fireworks show over the Mediterranean. The reception reportedly included a song list including "Sweet Home Alabama" and Bruno Mars' "Marry You."
Avril was formerly married to Sum 41 frontman Deryck Whibley in October 2009, but split after three years of marriage. Kroeger has never been married.
Surprisingly, Avril isn't the first celeb bride to wear black for special day this year. "90210" star Shenae Grimes also wore a dark tulle dress when she married Josh Beech in May.
