Jane Lynch is known for cracking jokes, but the actress took on a somber demeanor as she remembered her late "Glee" costar, Cory Monteith.
On Wednesday, Lynch sat down with Jay Leno on "The Tonight Show" where she opened up about the tragic passing of Monteith, and shared how she wants the 31-year-old to be remembered.
Check out the clip above to see an almost teary-eyed Jane share a sweet story about Cory.
Earlier this week, FOX announced that "Glee" will go on despite the show's very sad loss. Lynch is also nominated for a 2013 Primetime Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for her performance on "Glee."
On Tuesday, officials released Monteith's cause of death which resulted from a lethal combination of heroine and alcohol. Cory had struggled publicly with his addiction issues, and checked into rehab for substance abuse earlier this year.
Even though the TV star's passing was far too soon, it's nice to see his costars share memories of Cory's kind nature.
