The 2013 MTV Video Music Awards go down Sunday night in Brooklyn -- and to celebrate, we're checking in some of our favorite video vixens of the past 30 years.
The first VMAs aired back in 1984 and since then we've seen pop stars like Madonna, Mariah Carey, Spice Girls, Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera perform on stage.
But what about some of the performers who dropped off the face of the planet after briefly hitting it big?
