Sad news for Jack Osbourne and his wife Lisa.
The couple -- who announced they were expecting a second child back in August -- suffered a late-term miscarriage.
Lisa Osbourne posted the news on her Raddest Mom blog, saying she had been "dreading this announcement."
"Jack and I lost our baby boy last week," she wrote. "Having a late term miscarriage is by far the hardest thing either of us have ever had to go through."
The couple, who have a one-and-a-half year-old daughter Pearl, were looking forward to expanding their family. "We feel so blessed that our family is growing & Pearl will have a little brother or sister to play with," Lisa posted back in August. "It's crazy to think that we will soon be a family of four!"
"We appreciate all of your prayers and ask for privacy and respect during this time, her newest post read. "It's important to stay hopeful and optimistic through life's toughest moments. We never know why things like this happen. All we can do is trust in God and know he has a plan for our lives."
Unfortunately, Jack will have to grieve in public. The 27-year-old reality star is part of the Season 17 "Dancing With the Stars" cast. The show premieres September 16th.
