Jennifer Hudson is a shining star!
The "American Idol" alum was honored with the 2,512th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Wednesday.
The Oscar winner looked stunning as she posed for pictures, rocking a fitted white dress, matching pointed-toe stilettos and her new short 'do.
"Just got my star on the #WalkOfFame!! Such an honor," the "Dreamgirls" starlet captioned an Instagram picture of herself with her star and honorary plaque.
J. Hud's fiance David Otunga and son David Otunga Jr. were by her side -- along with Clive Davis, Ledisi and Raphael Saadiq -- to help celebrate the occasion.
David Jr. looked adorable in a gray suit and striped bow tie, which he coordinated with his very buff dad. He's so grown up!
"I knew I would get emotional, and I'm sure my mom is in heaven like 'Jenny, stop crying,' but now's the time to cry mama, it is," Hudson told the crowd. "This is an amazing honor as we all know, and I did not see this coming. I'm so honored to be here with so many that I love and I feel as though we're all a family."
