Are Katy Perry and John Mayer dissing Kimye's "Bound 2" music video? Yep!
During an interview on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" (airing Friday), the cute couple joked about how their music video for "Who You Love" compares to Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's video.
"Was it your response to Kim and Kanye's 'Bound 2?'" the talk show host asked.
"Yes. I thought our response was a little bit more authentic because my hair was blowing in the right direction, though," Perry joked.
Well, she has a point!
In "Bound 2," Kardashian goes topless and straddles West while riding on a motorcycle. "She was facing backwards, right? So her hair should have been [blowing the other direction]," DeGeneres added.
In "Who You Love," Perry, Mayer and other couples ride a mechanical bull together. We have to admit the bull riding is a little awkward!
Katy and John also opened up to Ellen about their rocky relationship.
"I think when two people are involved, someone other than yourself, you have to figure out a compromise in a good way," the brunette beauty said. "And there's a lot of respect. You know, I really adore him and respect him as a musician and that's why I was excited and agreed to do a song with him."
"We have a lot of fun," the "Roar" singer added. "We have music as an understanding and love between each other and we connect. It's like he understands what I do because he does the same thing. And so after a long day, if it's been tough, I don't really have to go into it. He just gets it. So it's nice with that understanding."
We think Katy and John are in it for the long haul!
