Katy Perry and John Mayer have parted ways, E! News reports. A source close to the couple tells the site that Perry ended the relationship with Mayer over the last few days.
While there's no further details at the moment as to why the cute couple called it quits, Katy has been traveling solo on her recent trips to London and Milan.
Even though the singers have had a rocky relationship -- breaking up and getting back together numerous times since they started dating in 2012 -- it seemed like the pair were going strong, especially in the last few months.
The couple released a duet and an adorable music video for "Who You Love" from John's new album Paradise Valley back in December, and Katy was also spotted earlier this month rocking a giant ring on that finger.
If the split reports are true, it looks like Katy's sparkler really was just an accessory and nothing more.
