Model turned celeb stylist/designer L'Wren Scott is dead after an apparent suicide. She was 47.
Scott, who began dating Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger in 2001, was reportedly found hanging by a scarf on a door knob by her assistant inside her New York apartment around 10 AM.
There was no note or sign of foul play.
A spokesperson for Jagger said that the rocker is completely shocked and devastated by the news.
Actresses including Angelina Jolie, Sarah Jessica Parker, Penelope Cruz, Amy Adams and Nicole Kidman have all worn Scott's designs to the Academy Awards, while countless others have sported her dresses on the red carpet.
