Eric Dane is ready to move on from his mistakes.
The "Grey's Anatomy" star opens up about his seeking rehab for an addiction to pain pills and moving forward from the "naked tape" he made with wife Rebecca Gayheart which leaked in 2009.
After a tape was made public, which showed Dane, Gayheart and another woman seemingly under the influence, the actor sought rehab two years later for an addiction to painkillers.
"We've all made mistakes. My one regret is that I got the person I love most wrapped up in all that: Rebecca," Dane tells PEOPLE.
"I honestly think I'm exactly where I'm supposed to be at this moment in time," the 41-year-old adds. "And I'm really happy."
It seems like McSteamy's life has come full circle since his drug addiction. Dane's snagged a role on the series "The Last Ship," and is enjoying family life these days.
"I never had a family, and now I do," Dane says, referring to when his father died when he was just 7-years-old. "I know I'm a very lucky guy."
