The brunette beauty dropped a lyric video for her new track "This Is How We Do" on Thursday, which features a ton of different '80s fonts and colors.

The pop star's new single is the perfect summer anthem, and we love how she pays homage to her hometown of Santa Barbara, Calif.
The song also sounds different than Perry's past stuff -- maybe she was inspired by Miley Cyrus' "We Can't Stop"?
