The singer posted a new photo to Instagram on Sunday, showing off her natural curly tresses in a candid selfie.

Lopez -- who has been in New York for the past couple weeks -- celebrated her 45th birthday in the Big Apple last Thursday with Khloe Kardashian, French Montana, Scott Disick and her rumored new beau Maskim Chmerkovskiy. The "I Luh Ya Papi singer also had one ridiculous birthday cake at the festivities.

But it's back to work for the "American Idol" judge -- she's leaving the east coast and heading home to Los Angeles.
