Nooooooooooooooooooo!
Jason Derulo and Jordin Sparks have called it quits. Jason just confirmed the news in an interview with KDWB in Minneapolis -- saying that the two will remain friends.
"Everything is cool man. It's not a bad situation, it's not one of those kinds of things," says Jason.
The former couple confirmed they were dating back in 2012, and Derulo even released a song for Jordin titled "Marry Me" last year. The "American Idol" alum also appeared in the music video alongside Jason -- and shared some PDA together on the red carpet at the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards back in August.
Safe to say this one is a shocking split.
There may have been some clues that the two were headed for some trouble though. Jason was seen partying solo at 1 OAK in both Los Angeles and Las Vegas just last weekend -- and Jordin tweeted that she "just wrote the saddest song of my life" on the 15th.
On the 14th she was equally melancholy. "Football is the only thing making me smile today. I don't feel like doing anything except laying down & zoning out. 😔 #oneofthosedays," she tweeted.
toofab chatted with Derulo back in July, where he opened up about his relationship with the brunette beauty.

When asked if Jordin ever got jealous when it came to the "Talk Dirty" singer's countless club and poolside appearances, he said he hoped she knew that there was no reason to ever be worried about their relationship.
"I hope not, even though they [paparazzi] always make them [photos] look kind of weird. There's nothing happening. So I hope not," he confessed at the time.
The 25-year-old also said that his hit single, "Marry Me," was supposed to be a balled for Jordin to let her know that one day he wanted to make it official. But, Jason also revealed that the constant marriage questions did get a little tiresome.
"I don't know how to deal with it. If you've got any suggestions, help me out," he joked, referencing all the attention about the song and their relationship.
"I get it," he added. "But I wrote the song for that reason and it ended up making it worse. The song talks about how when the time is right I am going to make that move and don't worry because we have forever, and then it turned out that everybody only listens to choruses and all they heard was 'Marry Me.'"
Sparks' rep had no comment on the report and Derulo's has yet to respond.
