It's official: George Clooney is off the market.
Hollywood's hottest bachelor just said "I do" to lawyer Amal Alamuddin in a lavish Italian ceremony at the Aman Canal Grande Venice hotel on Saturday, in front of a crowd of A-list guests. Matt Damon, Cindy Crawford, Bill Murray, John Krasinski, Emily Blunt, Ellen Barkin, Anna Wintour and Bono are all in Italy for the ceremony -- and were seen arriving to the event.
The fashion rivaled the Academy Awards.
The groom looked dapper as ever in a sharp Armani suit. Crawford (left) looked gorgeous in a sheer, full-length royal blue gown, with her hair down. Blunt (right) opted to pull her hair back, sporting a baby blue dress with a keyhole cutout. And Damon's wife, Luciana Barroso was a vision in purple.
So far, no shots of the bride's dress -- but we're sure she was stunning!
The 52-year-old "Ocean's Eleven" star met Amal, 36, through a mutual friend at a fundraiser back in September 2013.
In February the two were seen holding hands at the White House screening of Clooney's movie, "The Monuments Men," seemingly confirming their relationship. Then in April, after only seven months of dating, Amal managed to do the impossible: She got Clooney to pop the question!
The sexy actor asked for her hand in marriage during an intimate meal at his house. She was seen sporting a huge 7-carat emerald cut diamond ring in May, which reportedly coat $750,000!
Just a few weeks ago Clooney professed his love for Amal at the Celebrity Fight Night charity event in Tuscany. “I met my lovely bride-to-be here in Italy, whom I will be marrying, in a couple of weeks, in Venice, of all places,” he gushed. “I would just like to say to my bride-to-be, Amal, that I love you very much and I can't wait to be your husband.”
Congrats to the happy couple!
