When you're working on a film called "Ouija," you just know there's going to be a few freaky moments on set.
The film, which takes the popular Hasbro board game and gives it a new supernatural twist, follows a group of high schoolers as they look into the suspicious circumstances surrounding a friend's violent death.
"I think we all had predisposed prejudices against the Ouija board," star Olivia Cooke tells toofab's Brian Particelli. "I think going into it I was like, 'I'm definitely going to get some Satanistic spirit inside me!"
Luckily, that didn't happen ... at least we don't think ... but that could be thanks to a few precautions taken by Olivia's costars.
"I gave everybody sage at the end of the production because I just wanted to be sure that we were covering all of our bases," Ana Coto tells us. "I did want to know if it was a real board, I wanted to know if there was going to be a priest or exorcist on set," adds Biana Santos.
FYI: There wasn't one, so it's possible some sprits may still be lingering.
Check out the video above to see why Ana says she "almost peed [her] pants one day" -- plus, watch the video below to see which films Olivia, Daren Kagasoff and Shelley Hennig picked as their favorite horror movies of all time!
See them all in action when "Ouija" hits theaters this Friday.
