Helena Bonham Carter and Tim Burton have officially split, according to PEOPLE.
While the Hollywood heavyweights have been together for 13 years, the couple recently decided to call it quits.
Carter's rep told the mag that Carter and Burton, "separated amicably earlier this year and have continued to be friends and co-parent their children," in a statement on Tuesday.
"We would ask that you respect their privacy and that of their children during this time," Helena's rep continued.
While the actress and the director never tied the knot, they do share two children together, Billy Raymond Burton, 11 and Nell Burton, 7.
The couple first met back in 2001 while shooting Tim's "Planet of the Apes," which starred the 48-year-old actress.
