The actress took to Instagram on Monday to share a rare photo of her son, Ryder, as the two volunteered down in Mexico.
"Ryder and I decided to take a trip to Mexico to help @starkeycares fit hearing aids to those in need," she wrote. "Seeing the smiles of people hearing clearly for the first time has been an amazing and spirited experience. Thank u for allowing us to be apart of this mission #Starkey #StarkeyCares #SoTheWorldMayHear."
In the pic, the blonde beauty is sporting a checkered shirt, shorts and baseball cap as she poses with her arm around the 11-year-old.

Ryder is her eldest son from her marriage to musician Chris Robinson -- and he looks JUST like the two of them. The 35-year-old star also has three-year-old son, Bingham, with Muse frontman Matthew Bellamy.
Hudson recently gushed about her kids when she was honored as the Celebrity Role Model of the Year at the People Magazine Awards in December.
"My [role model is] easy, mine's my mom," she said in her speech. "My children are my role models, too. I think you learn a lot from your kids – the purity and the innocence of how they attack things and how they communicate is inspirational."
