Shakira is now a mother of two!
The "Hips Don't Lie" singer and her soccer player love Gerard Piqué welcomed their second son on Thursday, January 29th, and the blonde bombshell announced the news on her website.
"We are happy to announce the birth of Sasha Piqué Mebarak, son of Shakira Mebarak and Gerard Piqué, born January 29 at 9:54pm, in Barcelona," her statement read.
Baby Sasha joins the couple's 2-year-old son Milan, and both mommy and baby are confirmed to be in "excellent health."
The sexy singer also explained her unique name choice. "The name Sasha is of Greek and Russian descent and means "defender of mankind" and "warrior."
The Colombian beauty managed to keep the sex of her baby a secret until her parents spilled the beans. "We're very happy. She's having another baby boy - a playmate for Milan," they gushed to Hola! magazine.
Looks like Shakira has her own mini soccer team now!
