Ethan Hunt is back in action in what may be the most insane "Mission: Impossible" film yet.
The first full trailer for "Mission: Impossible -- Rogue Nation" just landed online, after a teaser made its online debut over the weekend ... and wow, Tom Cruise is a crazy person.
The clip above ends with the Hunt dangling from the side of an Airbus during takeoff, his legs flying in the breeze as the plane just gets higher and higher.
Movie magic, right? Wrong. He REALLY did that!
In an interview with USA Today, Cruise reveals where the dangerous idea came from and how they pulled it off.
"I've often sat on airplanes, looked out and thought what it would be like out there on the wing. This is the (stuff) I think about," the 52-year-old says. "That's me the whole time. I was standing right over the tires when we landed. It's nerve-racking for everyone else, but pretty exciting for me.”

For director Christopher McQuarrie, this was the only way to compete with some of the impressive set pieces from the previous films -- including a moment from "Mission: Impossible -- Ghost Protocol" that found Cruise scaling Burj Khalifa in Dubai.
"We knew anything we did was going to be compared with the Burj. But it's not like you could wait for someone to build an even taller building," McQuarrie says. "We keep pushing the envelope."
The film also sees the return of franchise favorites Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames and Jeremy Renner, as well as newbie Rebecca Ferguson, who steals the show by kicking ass in a ball gown.
The film hits theaters July 31 -- you in?
