It's been 8 years since we said goodbye to fast-talking mother-daughter duo Rory and Lorelai Gilmore -- but last night, the two gathered with the rest of the "Gilmore Girls" cast for one awesome reunion!
While Melissa McCarthy (Suki) was sadly MIA, Lauren Graham, Alexis Bledel, Jared Padalecki, Scott Patterson, Kelly Bishop, Yanic Truesdale, Keiko Agena, Liza Weil, Milo Ventimiglia, Matt Czurchy, Todd Lowe, Liz Torres, Jackson Douglas and Danny Strong were all on hand for the big reunion panel at the Austin TV Festival on Saturday evening -- the first time the've all been photographed together since the show went off the air in 2007.
With an empty chair on stage for the late Ed Herrmann, the cast reminisced about their time in Stars Hollow, Rory's many loves and rumors of a potential movie.
"There's nothing in the works at the moment," creator Amy Sherman-Palladino said during the panel. "Here's the good thing: Nobody here hates each other. It would have to be the right everything – the right format, the right timing… it would have to be honored in a certain way. And if it ever came around, we would all jump in and do it. And if it ever happened, I promise you I'd do it correctly."
All of Rory's men sounded off on who they thought she should end up with.
Milo Ventimiglia, who played Jess Mariano, said he was Team Dean ... as for Dean himself, Jared Padalecki, he said Team Jess. Matt Czuchry also picked Jess, while Scott Patterson said "None of you are good enough for Rory."
Other fun tidbits from the panel: Someone else was initially cast as Dean before Padalecki got the role, Lauren and Alexis had a had time remembering some of their most memorable lines and Graham doesn't think Luke and Lorelai got a "satisfying" ending.
