Here's something that'll make you feel ziz-a-zig-old: The Spice Girls turn 20 next year!
The "Wannabe" stars celebrate two decades of Girl Power next year -- and Scary Spice herself, Melanie "Mel B" Brown, says the girls definitely have something planned to mark the occasion.
The "America's Got Talent" judge stopped by toofab's studios this week, where she spoke with Candice Brock about a potential reunion with her band mates, revealed why she missed Geri Halliwell's recent wedding and spilled some '90s hair secrets!
"It doesn't feel like 20 years to me, but I think it's nice that we can celebrate that and hopefully we'll be doing stuff together to help everyone celebrate," she hinted. "So it will be something fun!"
"I think we're definitely gonna be doing something," Mel teased. "What that is, I can't say cause it's not completely finalized, but I think it would be a shame not to celebrate 20 years."
Sounds like there could be a big announcement coming soon!
Scary, Baby, Posh, Ginger and Sporty last performed together at the closing ceremony for the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. And, while all the women have remained close, Emma Bunton was the only one who made it to Geri's May nuptials to Formula 1 boss Christian Homer.
"Unfortunately I couldn't be there at the wedding and neither could Victoria or Mel C because we all had prior commitments," she explained.
"Even thought they've been together quite a while, it was like, 'Oh I'm getting married in a few weeks,'" Mel tells toofab. "I was like 'No change the date!' She looked gorgeous on her wedding day and I'll get to hear all the gossip when I fly over there in a few hours."
Though the women have all matured and started their own families in the past 20 years, Brown feels like each of her band mates still fit their famous Spice personas.
"We're all kind of exactly the same, we've just like aged a little more gracefully," she said with a laugh. "When I jump out of the shower, my hair's lovely and curly, and I like that. You can't stop you from being you, and I'm Scary Spice, always, and I don't mind that!"
